Kerbal Space Program has a 'skybox' of stars that is unique to the game.
Historically people have looked up into the night sky and found patterns in the stars.
You may know the most commonly mentioned ones, such as the Big Dipper, or Orion's Belt. But those are mostly ones recognized by Europe. Did you know that other areas came up with different ones?
Well, here's our chance to come up with our very own Kerbal Space Program Constellations!
Below are the 6 images that make up the Kerbal 'SkyBox'. You can either look at each image itself or try to find a program where you can view the entire skybox at once. Either way you can use it to try to find your very own constellations!
Here's what you do:
1. Download the images below
2. Try to find your very own images in the stars of KSP (Kerbal Space Program)
3. Use a tool, such as Microsoft Paint or any other simple graphics tool to outline the stars you think make the pattern and attach the name you think is right to it.
4. Mail the result to constellations@thereadpanda.com
Rules:
Don't submit anything obscene (dirty).
Don't submit more than 6 pictures at once (If you want to submit multiple constellations use one skybox pane for each. Remember that in the old days they didn't usually draw constellatiosn over one another.)
After a while you can return here and see some of the results! The best ones will be posted here and hightlighted on a Youtube Video on the Read Panda channel! youtube.com/thereadpanda
Good luck and have fun!
